Daegwenn has just left Hobbiton.

I was on a website a while ago and something struck me as odd...there were these people that were actually bashing the people who had been inspired by the movie to read the book...they actually had the gall to say that we have no actual appreciation for the books at all...but are oogling over the actors that portray the characters...this made me angry and after I sent a rather nasty note, I thought I should share my experiences with you all.
This isn't the only book that attracted me with a movie...Starship Troopers, Dune, and Interview with a Vampire...all of these books I found after I watched the movie. Although Dune sucked after the second book, Starship Troopers was nothing like it was in the movie (Dizzy is a guy in the book and has a shorter role to play) I keep wondering if maybe I am wrong...and they are right.
Comments?
~~Daegwenn

"And still of a winter’s night, they say, when the wind is in the trees,
When the moon is a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas,
When the road is a ribbon of moonlight over the purple moor,
A highwayman comes riding—
Riding—Riding—
A highwayman comes riding, up to the old inn-door.

Over the cobbles he clatters and clangs in the dark inn-yard.
And he taps with his whip on the shutters, but all is locked and barred.
He whistles a tune to the window, and who should be waiting there
But the landlord’s black-eyed daughter,
Bess, the landlord’s daughter,
Plaiting a dark red love-knot into her long black hair"
