I liked the Dead Marshes ok, but I imagined them to be more water and less plants(more soggy), at night, with ghostly, green lights instead of flames and with fog. But you know, PJ might picture them like this, we'll never know. He has said several times that these movies are formed from the way he and his colleagues picture Middle-Earth.
