I'm not a cryer, but this movie nearly had me in tears. Ok, it did, actually, at the end when Boromir died. Because I wanted to read the books before I saw the movie (there's something redeeming in that). I had never read LOTR before, so I read FOTR, then headed off to the theatre, not knowing that Boromir dies, and I was in complete SHOCK!! For days I was all "He wasn't supposed to DIE!!"" And my friends would roll their eyes. Heheh, I actually converted a friend to the love of Elves. There are two of my friends who also refuse to see the movie. Though one of their reasons is downright stupid. Get this, she says she won't go see the movie because the whole thing is to make money and get more publicity. Does it matter that it's the greatest movie of all time? Noo, not to her. She thinks it's all money-related, but what movie isn't??
