Besides Elves, which inspire me a lot (their immortality and love), I'm actually most inspired by two places called the Mirkwood and Moria. As we all now, these two places have first been good and beautiful. But so it was that dark forces gained power in them: the dwarves of Khazad-Dum, the northern miracle,dug to low in the lust of
mithril and Sauron the Necromancer settled down to the Mirkwood, known before as the Wood of Greenleaves. Evil grew strong in them and was never mown down again.
The theme of everything being so transient is one of the major themes of Silmarillion and what I love about Tolkien's works. <img src=smile.gif ALT="
