Re: Faramir

In Appendix A of LOTR, in Part I The NUmenorean Kings, section (ii)The Realms in Exile, there is an annal of all the Kings and Stewards of the Reams in Exile. The very last Steward mentioned is Faramir, it gives the date of his death as FA 82. This might be deceiving, because if you look at it at first, it looks like it is saying the year Aragorn died, but if you look closer, you will see that it is the death year of Faramir. According to Appendix B, the Tale of the Years, Faramir was born in TA 2983! Simply do the math, and regard the years involved in the change of ages, and you got the age Faramir lived up to: 120! <img src=smile.gif ALT="">
