Like some others here, I'm trying to keep an open mind about this. <P>I'm not going to condemn it yet, because of course, I haven't seen it. My first impression was it looked low-budget. I didn't even realize there were elves in there for one, so the costume/appearance design could use some help. <P>But this guy is a new director (or at least I've never heard of him) and therefore his movies may not be the best right now. Who knows, he might be the next George Lucas. Now I know saying that is going to the extreme, but let's not be too hasty to deal out 'death and judgement'.
