That whole "come and claim him" nonsense took a very important scene away from Frodo and I don't think his chracter ever recovered from that.<BR> <BR>I am very grateful that she wasn't at Helm's Deep. I might have thrown something at the screen if she had been. But that sillines with the horse and Aragorn was so contrived! It just didn't do anything for the story. All they had to do was show Aragorn thinking about times shared between them. She didn't need to have a real part in TTT. And she certainly doesn't need to get all bucky again in RotK. <P>
