My favorite character from both the books and the movies is Samwise Gamgee - and needless to say Sean Astin is my favorite among the cast because in my mind he <B>was</B> Sam in the movies - and yes he did give an Oscar-worthy performance in ROTK no matter what those nimrods of the Academy say!<p>[ 2:44 PM February 01, 2004: Message edited by: Arathiriel ]
