Or maybe it would be best to leave the Legolovers with the idea that Legolas went into the woods and found a little elf madien of his own, instead of them finding out that he just spent the rest of his life with the comic-relief dwarf (sorry Gimli) <P>I do agree with what you said, Saucepan, about other films and them not telling everything that happened to the charaters after the story ended. But the thing is, is that the LOTR films are not other movies, they are special. Most of us (and many other people who don't even post on this site) have developed a very special relationship with these charaters, we care a lot about them. I think with a story of this scope and size it is okay to tell everything, in other tales which are not as big as this one, it is not necessary.
