Who really liked the gollum song when they first heard a titbit of it? I thought it sounded like a Bond theme tune, but it works perfectly in the film. So I have no problems with annie's song.<P>As to the song having to be sad. No, it needs to be bittersweet.<P>PS The flute playing of Sir James Galway on the Return of the King track had me bawling my eyes out. And the grey havens music had me going, oh no, this will send me over the edge when I see the movie......<P>What I also love is the little bit of tin whistle you can hear on the billy boyd track. I love the tin whistle, and again, Sir James makes it sound beautiful.
