Viggo's wig was brown.<P>Edit: Also, from black-haired to blonde (Orlando-Legolas) has a very different effect, not a sickly one. I'm not saying that David Wenham's coloring (skin and facial hair) <I>was</I> the reason for the change from the book, but it's a logical one when you try to picture him that way.
