The Grey Havens... No contest. I was trying the whole scene not to openly sob. It was just so heart-wrenching and beautiful...<BR>Second would have to be the moment Gandlf and Pippin have when talking about death during the Battle of Pellennor... That really hit me. Just how deeply afraid Pippin was and the way Gandalf reassured him and the way he described death was very moving and also a very good way of incorporating the importance of the themes of death and the afterlife that were so integral to the books.<P>EDIT: Oh yes, I almost forgot... the Rohirrim screaming "DEATH!" was awesome- there was no hope and they still fought with everything they had and that scene displays those emotions perfectly...<p>[ 2:50 PM December 20, 2003: Message edited by: Cinderella ]
