I like Finrod better. I think it is really cool how he gave up his own life to save Beren's and fought the werewolf. Thingol is an interesting enough character but I think Finrod is much more honorable.
Everyone seems to be ignoring the second part of Aule's question. So I will answer it: I would probably prefer to be a Noldorin elf. I don't know why, it just appeals to me.
