It qualifies that you have a right or an heritage that makes you what you are. Most of Aragorn's names as mentioned are nicknames, something you give to someone off-handed. Wingfoot, Longshanks, and Strider all names someone else uses for Aragorn, not Aragorn himself. He just hid behind them. And it is a lot of names, but what better way to stay low?
