Well, the Middle-Earth Mirthies Award Show would have categories for book-verse stuff, not just characters. That's a prospect to go on. It would be sort of like the SAG Awards, more so than like the Oscars at least. Now, votes would not be based on how generally good someone is, just how much you think they deserve the votes for....

~Best Male Character~
~Best Cameo Appearance~
~Best Overall Villain~
~Best Monster/Creature Character~
~Best Comedic Character~
~Best Character Monologue/Speech~
~Best Overall Death Scene~
Yeah...stuff like that...must think of my votes.
