You know Regin's last comment about the relationship between the two families is right in line with something I was thinking about ealier in the car. It's interesting how two people being in the same relationship with one another can have completely different perceptions of the relationships. In Kransha's character description of Kalimac, he says that Kal feels very friendly toward the Chubbs, but we see a very different perception coming from Harold. This is completely normal. I'm sure Kal doesn't see himself or his family as some sort of dictators or tightwads, but because he has an authority over the Chubb family, they tend to feel this way about them. I think this kind of incongruence happens all too often in the real world, otherwise, there would be no broken hearts.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this works itself out.
