I was fooled every time! I was only about 10 when I read it for myself.

Gandalf dieing: Just about cryed
Frodo: Tryed to figure out how the story would go on without him. I was very relieved when I found out he was still alive
Pippin: thought he was dead
Ending: Total Surprise.
