I assume that you mean the Chuck Norris film. More difficult, but:
Braddock: Missing in Action -> Chuck Norris -> Firewalker -> John Rhys-Davies -> LotR
6 Degrees of Separation, eh? That rings a bell.
That should include both the films and the actors, since it seems to me that most of these connections can be made using no more than two films between the starting point and LotR.
So, how about Metropolis (that's the 1927 Fritz Lang-directed one)?
