well there is certainly less of an age gap than with Arwen
...clearly he goes for the older woman... butif I remember HoME .... Tolkien was more concerned teh other way... that he would be too old and grim for her.... and certainly in the book Aragorn is not as attractive at first sight as Viggo Mortensen......
