How about those of us who have a lot to think about, so much to say and too much real life stuff going on to post everything we'd like to and an insane fear of not having the proper quotes or messing up the phrasing and concept translation, thus obscuring the real meaning we're trying to get across with a post...such things often derail an otherwise great thread with clarification posts and sometimes fights that close down otherwise great topic threads; ah, I suppose it is inevitable and I'll have to get around to figuring out what I'm really trying to say in the "Shadow and a Thought" thread. Gee, this is what kept me from posting on the "Frodo's Sacrifice" thread until it was too late! I sound neurotic, don't I?
Cheers!

P.S. Maybe I need to get a better sense of humor and go ahead, break down and write the Alternate Quenta Silmarillion, beginning with the tale "Of Fëanor, the Exploding Elf" But it always comes out sounding wrong when I try! Aaaagh!
