EEEP! I thought my friends and I were the only people in the world who knew what a trebuchet was...You have just made me extremely happy.
My question about the trebuchets is, where's the cradle/track thing to guide the pieces with? We made models of them for Science Club (yes, I'm a geek) and there's supposed to be a shallow cradle between the legs to guide the loaded sling. I didn't see any in the movie, and trebuchets don't work too well (in my experience) without one. Without the sling, you have to put it right where the cocked throwing arm sits, and the slack in the sling is taken up all at once, which does "interesting" things to the accuracy and power of your missle.
