As the night drew on, Faeradel Aramdial grew weary and decided it was time for a break in his journey. Faeradel was a human, but a tall one at that. Infact one could almost mistake him as an elf at first glance. His frayed, tattered leather over coat dragged behind him, sometimes catching on his tough black boots. The rest of his garments didn't exactly give him a welcoming, nor a wealthy look. Infact he barely had a penny to his name.

He noticed a small sign for a place called 'The Green Dragon' and decided to rest there for the night. He proceeded down the worn foot-path until he came across a junction. Through the ambient darkness he could see a dim light, which he assumed was of The Green Dragon. he paused to consider his options. Should he stop at the Inn and rest his tired legs, or would it be better for him to continue his journey, stopping as little as possible as he had been ordered. Part of him wanted to continue with the journey, but in the end his blistered feet won the argument and he decided to spend the night at the inn. After all, what harm could come to him in a place like The Shire?

Faeradel silently entered the Inn, and after a quick glance around the room he walked to the corner on his right and sat at a bereft looking table. He swiftly avoided the Inn keepers gaze. Until he'd had a chance to reflect on the days events he wanted nothing more than a quiet drink. However to his dismay, he was attracting a lot of attention from a hobbit sat by the fire. Ignoring this, he began to contemplate that evenings events.
