this is going to be a bit mean but ther e is a morbidly fascinating US show being screened here (UK) at the moment called Average Joe (more or less beauty and the beast) and maybe it is what Elrond would subject Arwen to in order to persuade her that dating cute Elf boys would be a good idea...
