My advice is just to feel your character. Place yourself in your character's shoes and just allow the feelings of what that character would feel flow in your words. Describe the same situation as you see it. RPGing is a lot easier then people let on. I've only been in one real RPG previous to this. Once you get one under your belt it doesn't take long to get the hang of it. Just remember to not add the signatures in the game. That was one lesson I had to learn. I kept forgetting. Pio had to remind me. lol.
Your post is perfect and there is no need to change it. In my opinion you have grasped the concept already. I think you will do just fine. If you have any questions, just ask them. We will help you.
