Re: Silmarillion 2nd Edition (?)
Welcome to the Barrow downs Amandil.
Very interesting tidings, and the first I have heard of them. I will most certainly look into it all,
as will a few others here.
I cordially incite you to the Silmarillion Project Forum where all manner of issues re: the Canon Silmarillion are discussed.
As for the 2nd edition containing changes I find this quite plausable, although 7 pages is a suprisingly small addition. I would certainly expect the Gil-Gald son of Fingon issue to be major point covered if any textual emendations are to be made.
And I just bought a second Hardback because the first was 23 years old and getting threadbare.
Thanks for the update.
Lindil is oft found on posting on the Silmarillion Project at the Barrowdowns and working on a new Elven/Christian discussion boardOsanwe-Kenta 'The dwindling Men of the West would often sit up late into the night, and awaken early before dawn- exchanging lore and wisdom such as they possessed , so that they should not fall back into the mean and low estate of those , who never knew or more sadly still, had indeed rebelled against the Light.'
