I'm going to say six, because Finwe was appointed King of the Noldor after he saw the Two Trees in Valinor, then he came back to Middle-Earth and brought his people to Valinor, so he was King in Middle-Earth for a very short while, I guess. I'm not too sure, but I'll give it a go and say six.
