Terry Brooks is an OK author, but he is nowhere near the caliber of Tolkien, and yes, you're right, he did steal some of Tolkien's ideas.(Elves, elfstones, dwarves, epic quests to destroy evil... [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] ) However, there are much better authors with much more original stories out there; ya just gotta look. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]
