Yes ... I meant as far as the rank and file are concerned . I did delete a post in a fit of pique after a bad rep (justified in that I had got threads confused and it was a bit of a non sequitur
..).Deletion didn't affect the thread's coherence (probably improved it) but I was surprised that it completely disappeared.
The quote function is very useful to preserve the thing you're referring to.
