Hobbit, they have to (HAVE TO!!) get Brian Blessed as Thorin, John Rhys-Davies as Beorn (why pass up all that talent??) and Sean Connery as...some Dwarf, it doesn't matter which (perhaps Dáin), or maybe as Bard? And Christian Slater as Thranduil.
