Now, comedy, that's something British that's
properly cool! Let me see...The League of Gentlemen, Reeves & Mortimer, Monty Python, The Office, Blackadder... but then one of my favourites, Father Ted, is Irish. Our music has gone rapidly downhill though - or is it my age? I have been reading about The Fall today and the thought struck me that a band as strange simply could not happen these days
Britain's weird character is OK by me, after all, it did produce Tolkien and in particular, Hobbits!
