the answer is Biter aka glamdring. it is the sword of Gandalf (the wise), and it is called biter by orcs (the foul). I admit that this was quite a vague question so you really don't need to give the next letter (unless if you want to, of course.

It is a whole lot of trouble, and then not worth much after you get it.
