If you call reading a lot of fantasy literature, playing a lot of fantasy role-playing games and drawing a lot of pictures inspired by the two of them interesting, then perhaps I was. Although I recall that many of my classmates took a different view ...

LotR, although it is a similarly long time since I have read that book.
