Well, neither of those are the right adventurer...
The wording I used to describe him is almost identical to that which is used somewhere in the Appendices.
And now, after further double-checking, I realize I made a (not-so-)slight error. The year for the adventurer is actually the year he was born, not the year he left.
That should make it a bit easier.
