I vote for Ungoliant. Creepy, stinky, insatiable, gave birth to other creepy stinky, insatiable things (like the lovely Shelob), and even had Melkor cowering in fear. I mean, if you're scary enough to scare Melkor... [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] That's a whole new level of unimaginable horror right there. Everyone feared Melkor, but Ungoliant must have been a bit more terrible in appearance.
