Can't work. Ceorl was the messanger in the LotR who meets Theoden's army coming out, and whose message directs them to Helm's Deep, and sends Gandalf off on his own mission. You seem to have him confused with Eorl the Young.
Here's my guess, if I'm allowed (thanks Lindolirian for the genesis of the idea):
Celegorm-> Orome-> Nahar*-> Felarof-> Herugrim (Theoden's blade, presumably inherited from Eorl)-> Ceorl (who would have seen/met it when he met Theoden).
*I am making the assumption that Orome never actually saw Felarof, and that Felarof was the direct offspring of Nahar, hence the association: Felarof "Met" Nahar in the act of his creation.
