Well, whoever she chose to guard is innocent because she protected them from the Werewolves' fangs. But, much as I would like to say it was me, I don't think that it was. I was, at that time, not likely to be attacked by the Werewolves because I was a prime lynching suspect for the next day.
Firefoot would have figured that out and so probably protected someone else.
