PMing: it's fun. Don't be afraid to send a PM to anyone, because the secret is, we all get this warm and fuzzy feeling (like swallowing a cat
) when we see that somebody wrote something just for us.
Signatures: many times they're your favorite passages from books, but they can also be random silly quotes, references to weird things... really anything. Mine comes from The Saucepan Man, who was not-so-subtly hinting that the phantom and I needed to get serious.
Conversing without making enemies: Don't talk to burrahobbit.
No, just kidding. As long as you are polite and willing to learn, you'll do wonderfully.
