Fea, I think you hit really close to a lot of
TGWBS's real characteristics - this is how I see him:
A bloodthirsty werewolf. He has be at least 6'2" when he's a wolf, though he truly is 'short' when he's in human form.

He is partial to a bit of Ox, but only when he can 'afford' it, the risk being great.
I imagine he does love iron, without his favorite sharpening tool his fangs wouldn't be nearly as razor sharp!
