As much as I hate to admit it, I don't know the answers to most of those questions myself... In fact I was pondering some of them just this morning. Well there is one question I can answer. If you read the tale of aragorn and arwen in appendix a of rotk, it explains how aragorn and arwen met and alot of other things about them.
Aragorn and arwen met when he was walking in the woods, though he thought she was tinuviel at the time. But soon he found who she was.
I'm sorry if what i said does not make much sense, and does not help much, but it;s hard to explain. Reading it helps alot....
