That's a
far more impressive collection than I had when I was your age! Even though there was little you could buy in those days in terms of merchandise, I didn't have quite so many of the books - I had to use the library to read the available volumes of HoME as they were so expensive!
I was having a quick (-ish) look on ebay this morning and found
this. It's a nice edition of LotR which comes with Tolkien's autograph and a funny little doodle he did of what seems to be Gollum! Have a look - it reminded me in a strange way of Homer Simpson.
