For the reasons that
Lalaith stated. A known innocent, if declared at the right time, can certainly be very dangerous for them. I said "almost certain" because they would of course rather go for the Seer if they thought that they had identified him or her. And it might be dangerous for them to go for the Hunter if they felt that he or she was on to them.
