In the Hobbit Gundabad is the capital of the goblins. In a later essay Tolkien says that Mount Gundabad was the place where Durin, the first dwarf, woke up.
Angmar was a realm ruled by the Lord of the Nazgul which was destroyed a thousand years before the events in the Lord of the Rings took place.
