It isn't bright blue - just a kind of wedgewood blue.. I don't know much about it ..I mean why would they teach us about our own location when they could tell you about the Borneo Sumba?

I only found a fossil once. It was lovely a little fern almost complete... unfortunately I was only looking because a we were having a Beach barbie with the German exchange students - and one of them was really interested ...good manners seemed to dictate I offer it to her ... and the wretch accepted

A few mils west and south are best known for dinosaurs - Dorset's jurassic coast and of course the Isle of Wight about 3 miles across the oggin...
