Estelyn is the Moderator for the Books, Movies and Newbies forums and so she knows a thing or two of helpful hints for the newly dead, no matter what age they claim to be. She also guides the Chapter by Chapter discussion in the Books forum. So, in other words, she's someone who knows her way around and so is a great person to ask for advice.
And if learning from authority isn't your cup of tea, you can read over many of the threads and posts here to see the kind of discussion which the forum generates. Chatspeak and chatty posts are typically rare and not well received--people just don't like the kind of thoughtlessness which those styles demonstrate. Such sloppiness also tends to limit the kind of wit and humour which good writing makes possible --and this place is definitely about wit and humour. There's only so many times one can overuse an ! before it becomes boringly predictable, after all.
