but for others I may be Matias (Matt-ee-us... and it IS a guys name)
Lol, I know. I really like the name, although I’ve only seen it spelt Matthias or Mattius before, neither spellings of which the computer likes. Bleh.

Anguirel...your name...Really?! Are you applying for Oxford this year? If so, I guess you’ll probably already know if you’re in, but hey, good luck anyway!

Name: Amy. Please spell correctly or I’ll…consequence you.

Quest: Pwwf. In the short term, to do well enough in my AS levels to fulfil the slightly longer term aim of getting a choral scholarship into Oxford. Again, pwwf.

Favourite colour: Why, gold, green and black, of course No, I generally wear and work in blacks and blues.

Most beloved Tolkien character: Not sure, Pippin is lovely, he presents a slightly cheerier side to the general gloom, as does Treebeard, but I do have a weak spot for Glorfindel.

Least beloved Tolkien character: Least beloved? Movie-gandalph! No, in the books, Theoden, or Saruman. Generally quite dull as bad guys go – all that potential and he just spends his time brooding about Gandalph.

Worst habit: Procrastination. Or maybe that should be down as best habit – certainly I am very good at it.

Best habit: Music. Not in a strange, obsessive, look-at-me-I-walk-around-singing-all-the-time kinda way, more just…well, the amount of it I do and the amount I think about music means that it has pretty much passed from the realms of hobby into habit.

Unlikeliest celebrity crush: Takuro Kubo. Or Kubo Takuro. Probably the latter, but I’m not honestly entirely sure how Japanese names work. The composer and guitarist/keyboardist from Glay, a Japanese rock band who I rather like despite the use of really random English words scattered throughout their songs for no apparent reason…

Weirdest hobby: Brownies, probably. Believe me, it may not be weird, but the Brownies really are Or making paper cranes with any spare piece of paper, whatever size, although maybe that’s more a weird habit.

Best place in Middle Earth: I would love to stay in Imladris for a few days, but it would probably get somewhat dull after a while. Rohan then – call me a shieldmaiden, but the idea of being able to work with horses all the time and train with weapons to use as well…well, it appeals.

Best place outside of Middle Earth: I have found a tree about five or ten minutes run from my house which is excellent for getting away. It’s in a field which may well, actually, be private property (oops) and is beside and above a rather unused road, and is fallen – it must have been easily twenty feet tall when it was standing. But it has been fallen so long that some of the upper branches seem to have taken root, and because it was very broad right from like the middle, you can climb right up and just perch there with phone, diary, music, book… Very peaceful.

Most embarrassing moment: What, a pinnacle? Lordy, there are hundreds, each more painful than the last, and I refuse to dwell on them publicly!

Most daring moment: Daring? Wish I was more bloody daring…*grumbles* See, what is daring for me, you may not consider daring. It’s more little everyday daredoms.

Favourite "LotR" actor: Dominic Monoghan or Viggo Mortensen.

Least favourite "LotR" actor: Sir Ian McKellan.

Theme song: Goodbye, My Lover by James Blunt (“I am here for you, if you’d only care”); I Miss You by Blink182 (“where are you? And I am so sorry, I cannot sleep, I cannot dream tonight…don’t waste your time on me, you’re already the voice inside my head”, plus it has references to Nightmare Before Christmas, qui j’adore.

Style guru: Haha.

Most crucial accessory: Hmm…my phone (partly because I currently do not have a watch), music (iPod), a book of some description, gold heart necklace one of my friends gave me. Scrap paper and a pen when I’m in school – have to do something in lessons, doodling generally fills up the long hours. Oh, and my glasses or contacts – very blind.

Greatest weakness: Long-windedness. Hmm, a two word answer, how ironi- all, that’s better My temper as well. Paranoia. Self esteem the size of a gnat’s poker cue.

Greatest strength: Being able to placate people; debating skills; voice.

Favourite place to visit on the Downs: RPG forums, although I have had more of a tendency to quietly float recently.

Best Downer Buddy: Ah, I’m with Anguirel: I have a fear that if I name anyone, they shall instantly reject me! Bethberry has proved to be a great friend, as did Mithadan at a time; Aylwen Dreamsong and Imladris; Fordim, Firefoot and Anguirel finish off my RPGing dream team. I apologise if I’ve missed anyone glaringly obvious.

Parting shot: Thanks for taking the time to read it.
Christ, ‘snappy’ party shot. Yeesh.
Silence, you.
Cliché.
Figment of imagination.
…alright, touché.
