Far from being at risk, the Dwarves have, throughout the show, held the advantage by virtue of their numbers. It is the fair-minded among us who have voted for them, with a view to evening things up. The Island seems to be located in some mysterious region where the length of the day varies from one day to the next. If nothing else, it at least heightens the unpredictability.
