Then, after statistics are compiled and made available, some astute Downer could model the data and predict (using Bayes's theorem and probabilities) the most likely times, threads, text, etc with which to garner rep. Instead of thinking about specific threads/posts or discussing an issue dear to one's heart, the wielder could simply pop in with a post with the highest probability of being repped, then spend the rest of his/her time watching TV.
