I didn't get the feeling of it having a dark quality. I had that mysterious feeling that you get when you go somewhere and where you expect the unexpected (which is odd, because if you're expecting the unexpected, doesn't that make the unexpected expected??
). That's the sense I got from Lothlorien in general. Galadriel, I had that feeling of power, majesty and mystery all combined in one and I wasn't dissapointed after reading that chapter.
