OK. Let me explain my predicament. With a like-minded majority effectively able to block vote and ensure that their favoured candidate is eliminated each day, the minority with different views have little or no capacity to make any negligible impact on the show, even were they to act in concert.
I could vote with the block voting majority, or I could (as I have done so far) attempt to put forward alternative, more controversial, candidates. Either way, my actions have little effect on the outcome.
And so each day proceeds with a tedious inevitability towards the predictably tedious final outcome.
In such circumstances, the incentive for me to vote reduces each day to the point where I ask myself: "What is the point?" That point I have now reached.
This show has no controversy whatsoever. Hence, the ratings are tumbling. As one of the initial backers, I think it best that I simply cut my losses.
Of course, if there is any hint of an upset, I reserve the right to return ...
