Which is exactly what the Ranger would have expected, right? I mean, when you have one person that everyone practically
knows is innocent, why not protect them, especially when no one seems to
know anything else. If
Caran had been killed, then we would be totally in the dark. If we aren't already.
But anyway...enough with that.
